Kate

Kate brings a wealth of experience, care and a big smile to CrossFit Atalan. Kate is passionate about keeping people moving - through proactive strategies, rehab / injury support, and appropriate alternatives. Kate is also passionate about tutus.

“I always had a sporting background; whether running, obstacle course racing or snowboarding. Seeing friends give up on their fitness due to age or injury motivated me to become a fitness instructor and CrossFit coach. As we age we need strength exercises more than ever! CrossFit showed me that regardless of age, fitness or injury there is always a fun workout for you. I love sharing this with our members and watching then become better versions of themselves.”

Patrice

When Patrice isn’t judging at international and regional CrossFit games, she keeps a keen eye on members form, safety and progress - with a big smile and a bigger personality. She also has some of the world’s fittest athletes in her DMs - and the worlds cutest schnauzer.

“When I found CrossFit, I had been active in one way or another since my teens. I instantly loved the community and quickly knew I wanted to help others make their lives better like CrossFit had done for me. Coaching is a deep passion. I’m super committed about taking care of each of our members, no matter their age, ability or phase of life. And I promise, we will always have a laugh!”

Peta

Peta brings a high-energy, can-do attitude to the gym. When not building houses, businesses, her family, and her wine collection - she helps members build a robust fitness regime for their stage of their journey.

“I first came across a CrossFit box back in 2012 in a co-workers garage and I was immediately hooked. Finally I found something that suited my strength and challenged me like the gymnastics component. I love to coach and help people achieve their health and fitness goals. Nothing is more exciting for me than seeing someone’s effort rewarded with their first pull up, double under or with a new personal best lift. I’m committed to helping our members achieve their goals.”
